Vetus CHCOMU Commander Helm Seat Frame with Flip-Up Squab, Without Upholstery
The Vetus CHCOMU Commander is a luxury helm seat supplied without upholstery, designed for installations where custom covering or project-specific finishes are required. The seat provides the full Commander ergonomic structure while allowing the installer or boat builder to apply their own upholstery solution.
The front part of the seat can be folded up, enabling steering in a standing or leaning position. This flip-up function supports active helming and improves visibility at the helm. The seat is equipped with armrests and a rigid frame made of stainless steel AISI 316, ensuring corrosion resistance in marine environments.
Supplied without a pedestal, the seat is compatible only with pedestals featuring a slide system (hole pattern R). Protective seat covers CCDS or CCSB can be used to keep the seat clean during installation or when temporarily fitted without upholstery.
